I've been demoing new skis lately and my dealer has been pushing the Radar brand, which I respect. I've been on a HO Triumph 69" for a few years now and have found it doesn't perform as well at higher speeds (30-32), the ski bottom feels flat and won't hold an edge as well through the wake. I tried the Senate but it didn't seem very responsive as far as cutting from the buoy to the wake, the (68" IIRC) Vice was a more of what I was looking for...plus it was lighter. I'm 6'1" 230lbs and ski the course regularly, I just need some opinions on the Vice or other skis that are more responsive and hold a good edge...

The Vice is a Strada with a different core (heavier). Trent Finlayson is used it this season on the Pro Tour.

Most who have reviewed this ski, think it is great ski at any price. it's a steel at the price it is offered.

I agree on the Triumph. I really messed up with my purchase of the Triumph, I feel like I am skiing a combo ski when I am on it. I went back to skiing my old VTX which I love. Hoping for a new ski for Christmas.
