Well, I like the x9 but the x30 has everything. I am talking about the 2006. The dash board is nice with all the cools meter. The x30 has plenty of room to walk about. What do you all think of this boat ? The price is not much more compare to an x9

Thanks,

I drove it yesterday along with the X45 and the answer depends on what you are looking for in a boat. I have a boat for primarily watersports and hanging out with family and friends. The current X30 is a good tradeoff of room, rough water capability and acceptable wake for most watersports, although a little big for slalom. I really like the improvements to the new X30, but for me, it's getting too big and heavy for what I like/need in a boat. The wake is bigger, the boat has less feel, you are much more insulated from the water with greater freeboard, and it seemed to stuggle a bit holding a good speed in the 18-22 MPH range, but that could be just a learning curve. On the plus side, the new boat is a step up in terms of creature comforts, storage, rough water handing ability, and therefore, a better cruiser than my current one. I walked away thinking that this boat has moved more in the direction of an excellent day boat for occasional water sports, than a good watersports boat that is generally acceptable for cruising. If I were to trade my X30, I would be going to a 209 than the other direction.

Diesel, you mean not including that "only being able to easily back it up in one direction" thing, right?
