Late last year I bought a Barefoot international - barefoot boom from someone on this site that stated that it came off of a 205v. I guess I should have asked if there were actually able to use it on a 205v before buying it.

It is definitely for a DD though. I'll put up pics as soon as I can. The cable lengths may need to be adjusted for a DD as the previous owner set it up for a V-drive.

I am ready to sell my boom that I can CONFIRM fits on a 205V. Hit me with an offer if you are interested. Not listed anywhere yet, and not in hurry to sell. I'm in eastern NC, not sure how bad shipping will be.

*Sorry for hi-jack*

If you can foot, I'll drive.

It's funny, I was going to contact you soon anyway. I was on vacation last week with the family at a lake and one of my nephews may be interested in heading out with you to get some pointers. August is probably out on my end, but do you expect to be on the river in Sept/October still? If so, shoot me some dates and I'll see what works for us and maybe we'll meet you down there.

Here is a pic of the boom. I've got a call in to BI to find out the model number.

Can't seem to get the stinkin pic to show, so here is the link.

Quick update, spoke with Mike Seipel (sp) today, super nice guy. I'll have to take some measurements and call him from home in order for him to be able to say for sure the model number.

Ok, according to Mike it is a B202 - Universal Contour. This is what their site says, regarding what boats it will fit.

"Fits any boat with tapered pylons & windshields that extend up to 8" behind pylon including:
Mastercraft, Ski Supreme, Malibu, Tige', Centurian and others."

To all of you that inquired about the boom, I wanted to let everyone know that it is sold. Best part is that it went to a fellow TT member.

Thanks for your interest.

$250 was a good price. That boom will fit most DDs regardless of the windshield position... It is the straight booms that will not fit a lot of boats that have the extended windshield...

Cloak,

Regarding my 5 month response time -- I spend more of my time ON THE WATER, not ON MC'Fourm TeamTalk.
And I wasn't concerned wither or not it was sold , jus' seemed he could of said it a little sooner.

Either way 250's a steal for any brft boom --
And that kind is super HEAVY! We had one on the last boat.
Hope from his sale, we get more feet on the water :)
