I remember a while back some were interested in having a ski lake built. I met the guy responsible for them at a michigan firm last weekend while at my grandfathers funeral. I thought I'd post the link to the site (I posted it on the other threal a while back, but it was buried in threadjacks), follow the link to "Private Ski Lakes" on the main page.

From the site:
GEI is one of only a few firms in the country designing private water ski lakes. We are the premier Midwestern firm. We have completed numerous lakes in Michigan and consulted on many more throughout the country, from Florida to California. GEI combines it experience in civil engineering, MDEQ permitting expertise, and laws along with our surveying experience and the many years of competitive ski experience of our President, Victor Lukasavitz, P.S. to become very successful with these designs. We not only know and understand these lake projects from the outside being the laws, permitting, and design, but from the inside being course setup, ski use, and driving knowledge.
