You store your boat at the lake (96 225 Maristar) 5.5 hours away. Head down to Mastercrart reunion. Get there 5:00 PM. Look in boat and notice that you left the seats at home after having some of them re-stitched last winter. Say a few choice words. Work around cabin as wife drives back 5.5 hours and retrieves seats for poker run next day.(I have a great wife don't I) Arrive back around 2:00 AM. Everything goes great from then on. I know, don't say it, I'm a dumb a$$.
PS. We did win a new mastercraft life jacket for traveling the most miles!!

somewhat unrelated but you know I have mc banners in the garage but I have some old slaloms hanging in my imitation office at home ranging from the early 60's to present
including
a kimball fiberglass flatbottom competition slalom (60's)
a wooden obrien competition with concave (70's)
HO mach 1 & HO Turbo (both checkered) (80's)
HO Turbo, pinstriped version
not sure the years on each but it's a cool use for them since they are out to pasture anyway
