My 2011 X25 throttle seems to be loose. When driving through chop, the throttle likes to increase due to the up and down movement of hitting waves. We hit one good size wave and it dropped the throttel into full throttle creating a possible unsafe condition:eek:. I cant drive without having to hang on the the throttle leaver. Even while I hold the throttle, waves move my have and in turn affect the throttle. Is there an easy way to tighten the throttle arm?

I believe there is a set screw underneath the trim panel that you can tighten

I have the same issue and posted something about this a while ago. 2010 X25. Always in open water. At some point you do get used to it, but you really gotta keep your hand on that throttle. Dealer said there is a way to do it and that they would come by and tighten some time.

Ended up adding this issue to my list of warranty items. Apparently they fixed it by removing the throttle arm and adjusting a friction adjuster. I will see how it turned out later tonight.

I had this issue on my 08 214 and the dealer made a friction plate adjustment and it turned ou great. No problems.
