I was bad yesterday. Seen a 97 Mastercraft with an outboard. Only second one I have ever seen in my life. They were in the ramp fixing to unload it. I wanted a picture of it and as I was taking a picture the lady in the boat asked me if I liked the boat. Without thinking I said no---I don't like outboards as a rule. My question for the fanatics. Is this the barefoot boat or just a different option Mastercraft to draw market share back then?

Its a barefoot boat. A powerstar 200. Predicessor to the Barefoot 200. The BF200's are the best for barefooting period. Super fast, flat wake tables, very fast acceleration. Don't know why they quit making them.

It is my understanding the Barefoot200 was built from 1991 - 1996, then a little later they built a newer version with an open bow. We have friends the sold a BF200 and moved to the open bow version, and are a little dissapointed in the newer boat. It has great amenities, but doesn't ski as well. Here is a picture of our 1991 BF200, we love it.

The powerstar actually did nothing great and was an under performer in most every way. The 200 was however a great boat!

I've watched the videos on line of the guys barefooting behind the OB. Perfectly flat table behind the boat.
