If I am a left foot forward skier is it left palm down or up on handle. I am thinking down...

For the "proper" grip, yes, it is left palm down, at least the way I was taught. I skied left palm up for many years, but then when I took a lesson and started skiing the course, the guy I was skiing with told me to switch. It was a little wierd at first, but by the end of the day I could see the improvement on my off side turn.

Yes, LFF fwd skiers, left hand facing down, right palm facing up and vice versa for RFF...this allows for a better power position. Here's a video link with Thomas Moore explaining it...mac

thanks for the help. :D my bad on the double post. :( i had checked a few times and did not see anything and thought it was buried. lesson learned
