i have a 99 tandom axle trailer under a 99 PS205 and i am not really sure that the springs are the right ones. the trailer is sitting sideways by about 3/4" and the springs do not really look like they are supposed to be under this trailer. i say that because the center wishbone that allows the pivoting is rocked to the front and the shackles that connect to the springs from the center wishbone are leaning in like the spring is too long. the springs are a 4 leaf design and i am wondering what the length of the stock spring was and what the weight of the spring was or how many leafs. i am thinking about replacing all of them since the reailer rides like there is no suspension at all. thanks

I have a 93 205 and had a leaf spring snap back around 2000. Texas mastercraft said that 3" springs (stock for my trailer) were no longer available, so I had to replace both and they used a 4"... Made the trailer ride higher, which I thought was better as it scraped ground less...

If you think they're gonna go, you might want to replace as a preventative.
