Folks,

Is there a method or description of the components of the hull id.

Ie: what would MBCA2CJ0H304 vs MBCATEC8J304 describe.

Sorry if this is in an earlier post.

Great site... have not see this one... On my 86 the fourth letter is a "S". This was not listed... All other numbers and letters sink up. I know it's a 351 with a one inch shaft. I think the power slots had a 1 1/4 inch shafts.. Just Curious. :D

Powerslots had 1 1/8" shafts. I'll check my fourth letter tonight. I've got a 351 HO, so we'll see if it's any different than yours.

my 4th is a , U, thats a 93 w/351 HO and no slot

the key that is up on the website is for current boats. they had different keys for the older boats. there are two letters after the year of the boat and those are keyed to interior colors.
