I've been getting alot of water in the bilge. The engine, prop shaft, hoses all are tight. We notice it coming from the front somewhere during sharp turns, big waves etc. I think the deck to hull joint behind the rubrail is leaking. I occasionally get water running down the carpet alongside the throttle too. Has anyone ever tackled this joint? I assume I'd have to remove the rubrail and it's track, maybe reseal it with some 3M 5200.

It is common that the bond between the hull and the top deck is not water tight. Some folks have done as you suggest. When you remove the rub rail you have access to the connection from the outside. However, removing the rub rail is inviting future problems. You may be able to get some sealant in the joint from the inside by climbing under the dash. I get a trickle of water once in a while but I seldom put the rub rail in the water.
