I'm helping a friend find a ski/wakeboard boat. I think for their price range ($15k) a Maristar would be the perfect place to start, adding a tower and ballast as they improve.

Found this 1999 that looks clean, the price struck me as way high.
Got our '02 X9 fully loaded with the same hours and the LTR330 for $20k 2 years ago.

What's the going rate on these things? I want to get them into a v drive, fuel injected boat for their price range. From there a grand or so in upgrades a year gets them a great, reliable wakeboard boat in no time.

I agree that price is a bit high. But I wouldn't expect to get that model Maristar for 15k either. As a 2000 Maristar owner I would guess around 18-22k for a boat like that.

i gave about 23 for mine last year and it came with a bunch of toys and all the accecories, with sound system. It is a bit scuffed at places but she does her job, and does it well.

and it came with a dorsey dual axel trailer w/foldable tonge.

Dealer only offered me 21k for my 01 360 Hours but it is outfitted same as X10. I walked on the offer. This guy has searched I'm sure and saw several that have towers etc and priced off that. So my point don't think 15 is realistic for this boat its worth more like 18-20 in my book. Tell them just to buy one ready it will save cash in long run. Oh I was looking at a X15 2010 so dealer I'm sure was quoting low on my boat.
