I know this is a long shot but I am looking for the "Drop In" carpet for a 209 in sand (Tan)color. These were called Aquamats I think. Does anyone have one they would like to sell or any dealers have any NOS left? Or as a really long shot anyone know who the made them for Mastercraft?

Thanks

Give me the year and color code if possible. Just so happens the carpet is made down the street from my carpet mill.

Hi Lawdogg

Its a 2001 prostar 209 but I am not sure if I can come up with a color code. I only had a part number and description. The color Mastercraft used was Sand.

Hope that helps. These were kind of like a floor mat but on a large scale and had rubber backing.

Not sure where in the Midwest you are, but couple of my buddies got snap in carpets made for their boats (not MC's but similar size) at an upholsterer in Fox Lake, IL pretty cheap. COuple/three hundred $ if I remember and they did a good job.
FWIW, my 2006 MC carpet rubber backing has not held up very well. It's already starting to dry rot/crumble on a boat w/ only 110hrs. May be due to the boat lived it's first 3.5 years in the heat of Las Vegas, but it was always covered or inside a garage.

this company has a huge ebay store There were several snap in carpets, but not a 209.
They said It is an AquaMat carpet - I believe they are made by Corinthian Marine. I hope it helps.

The ebay site for Great Lakes Skipper says the original manufacturer was a company called Matworks. The Matworks website: http://www.matworks.com/cockpit.htm shows that they will do a custom carpet in any shape or size and will even send you the material to make a template from your current carpet. Maybe you could just call them and tell they should already have the pattern. Or have them ship you the free template kit and make them a new pattern from your old carpet. Its worth a try if you have not explored it yet.
