View Full Version : 2011 X25 Storage height

Hi everyone

Can anyone tell me the height of the X25 with the power tower down? The car port I store it in is about 90" (7.5 feet) at the lowest point.

It isn't going to fit. An X-2 is barely under 8' with the tower down and the 25 sits significantly higher.

I tried to get my 2011 X-25 in the garage and cried when I realized I was a couple of feet off. I do not remember the exact measurement, but it is close to 9 ft at its lowest config.

It is a tall MoFo. Even the windshield was too tall.

I have a boatmate trailer.

Look at the height relative to the Honda Odessy parked next to it.

Ours takes 99" to clear. We do have the camera option.

Has anyone ever tried to remove the ski pylon/camera? If so is it a pretty simple task? It would only be done once a year for storage.

I have 94" to the top of my windshield.... 7'6" is not going to make it.

Go back and read my post, examine the picture above........no way that boat is fitting in a standard garage. There is not enough parts to disassemble or air in the tires to remove to make any difference. Trust me, I feel your pain and looked at that problem from 15 different positions. I just made up my mind to build a better garage next time!

Any updates to this or are owners of x-25 power towers limited to 99" plus garages? I've got my eyes on one but I only have a 96" garage and the power tower lowest point is 99".

I am noticing that the words mastercraft, tower, garage and storage never go together well in a sentence. As my previous boat owner said the words mastercraft, tower and barn are the only combination that should be heard in a sentence. He had a 12' by 12' tall door in his pole barn and he said it slipped right in with no problem. He had doors at both ends so he didn't even have to back it into his barn. No *that* is a place to store one's MC!

Well I've been told that the folded height for a x-25 with zft4 is only 92" and that would fit fine. Also I know a guy with a '11 star and a powertower and gets his in a 8' garage just fine.
