I love the built in coolers under the seats of boats like the X2, but I don't have one. I'm getting tired of carrying our giant cooler down to the boat (which is usually only about 20% full) and then having it sit out and take up floor space. Do any of you use soft coolers, and if so, do you have any recommendations? We usually start the day with about 10-15 drinks (Gatorade, soda, water, etc.)

I would go with a Polar Bear cooler. They hold a case of beer and will keep it cold all day. They easily fit most places in the boat. http://www.polarbearcoolers.com/ - The 24 pack is a good size. I left mine in my truck all day on Saturday in 90 degree heat and the beers were still pretty cold Sunday morning.

We've had the mastercraft soft cooler from the begining of the year. Its pretty awesome. Load up a cans with a bag of ice and it can sit in the sun all day. Hell, if we leave in the boat over night it still has ice come Sunday morning.

X2 on my soft side MC Cooler ...... love mine. Most soft sides are good if they are of quality ..... really like that mine doesn't leak.

also been using the cooler offered on MBD. Like it alot. Keeps items cold for extended periods, easy to carry around. Wish it had a drain but no big deal. They should make a separate portion on top where you could store sandwiches, chips etc, w/o them being in contact with ice.

I bought one from Costco that came with a removable cart to wheel it around if need be. It works well and has a small opening at the top to get drinks out without unzipping it. I don't see it on their website but it was cheap. $26 or something like that. It actually holds it's shape too.
