I just received my registration info. today from the State of Tn. Does anyone know where the best place is to order boat numbers that match the Mastercraft font???

I have an 05 X-Star in Turn Bouy Orange....only in Tennessee
It has the 'Mastercraft by Design' graphics...

It is the D10 graphic on the side

http://mymastercraft.com/product_details.cfm?caller=PARTS&item_id=44&product=88750101&product_type=GRAPHICS&company=MasterCraft&sub_product=X-Series

This might help. Thanks

Talk to a sign shop. They should be able to cut them out of vinyl

If you're talking about the "MasterCraft" font on the later model boats, it's apparently a proprietary font. However, many local or online graphics vinyl cutting places can either custom match the font, or they can use a font called "HemiHead426", which is pretty close for most letters.

I always get my license numbers on the boat painted on by someone who does pinstripping and lettering. If you find a good pinstripper they can do it in a similar font.

A little pricy, but they look really good. They are the raised drip molded numbers.

All of the MasterCraft and MariStar lettering on my 2004 MariStar is that same drip-molded style. Thanks for the link - exactly what I'm looking for.

Those look great. Did you order yours from there? I'd like some of those but am concerned how well they hold up to uv and stay sticking to the hull.

Here is a company I used and I think the look great - About $50.00 for a pair. They come all ready to put on your hull.

This guy on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=26455&item=4561709063) just made me 2 custom sets of registration numbers to match my 82 Font in the color of my choice for around $15 including shipping. They look good.
He clams he can match most any font and color.

What I ultimately decided to do was get flat vinyl. The domed numbers are cool, but they can only do outline, not two-color shadow effect, which is what I want. Additionally, the only yellow color they have is distinctly different than MasterCraft yellow.

I downloaded the HemiHead 427 font (free) from this site (http://www.freefontsnow.com/download/review.php?sid=787&recat=9) and took it into a local vinyl graphics place this morning so they could load the Mastercraft font into their computer and make numbers that match all the other lettering on my boat exactly, and in the same shade of yellow with a black shadowing effect.

I don't have them, yet. But they make a lot of stickers for INT and they seem to hold really well. I first learned about them on Wakeworld and everyone seemed to be pleased with them.

Does anyone know if this place is out of business www.domednumbers.com. Their web site is not pulling up. Or is there a better or cheaper place to go for boat lettering now ?

honestly the best thing to do is... go by a sign shop that does vinyl lettering and talk to them... i have done this on both MCs and my waverunner and they'll usually hook you uo w/ exactly what you're looking for in font and color...might help to call ahead but i like the drop in approach... if they don't treat you right or not giving you what you want just leave... just a quick drop by there w/ you vessel and they'll usually hook you up

Thanks Guys Must have been my work PC blocking that site. Looks like most sites are around the $80 to $110 price range for the drip molded letters .

Talk to Farmer Ted, he did mine. While they are not domed they are custom and awesome! I'll put a pic up in a min.

Just FYI, ask for Shelly at www.domednumbers.com. She is cutting my registration numbers like the following.

http://www.memphiszclub.com/graphics/Maristar%20210%20VRS/Registration%20Numbers.JPG

But the cool thing, the numbers will be white one top and gradually go to gray towards the bottom with black between silver surround.
