I have an X-25 with the BIG, but I have always liked the flush mounted compasses.

What kind of compasses have you guys placed in your boats and where?

I would love it if you guys wouls post pics.

Very early on, I saw a compass I really liked, but as hard as I have tried, I can't find it anywhere. It was similiar to a flush mounted but sat mostly on top of the dash on the top left. It was on a Mastercraft.

Thanks for your help.

I took my compass out and bought abother mount and harness for my Garmin 498c. I use it in both boats as it has all of my hangs logged into it. A compass would be a great back up but there was no room. I marked a load of channels and snags in my GPS after Hurricane Rita tore our damn up and they lowered the lake 6'. It's now at 4' low and there's a BUNCH of NASTY snags just under the waders surface. I reckon my GPS is a lil more important to me. It has everything on it, compass, speed, chartplotter, ect..... It comes in really handy when the lake is socked in with fog too. ;)
