I'm trying to replace the factory radio in my 90 model prostar 190, I am in need of wiring help does anyone know of an adapter that will adapt the factory radio plug to an aftermarket plug or am I just going to have to splice all of the wires?

I just spliced all of mine (different boat, but same idea). Best thing I can suggest is the little screw on wire connectors from Crutchfield. They make this task much faster and work well.

While you're at it, I would isolate ground and + from the dashboard gauges and have stereo run on its own fused circuit to the battery. Always had issues with gauges boucing with the bass... (maybe that's not you case at all)
