I'm looking for the best boat insurance for the best price!
Live in Austin, TX if that means anything.
I'm actually looking for the cheapest insurance that's reliable!

Having used my boat insurance recently i recommend progressive they were easy to work with fast turn around and when i got my new boat the price was a lot less than i expected.

I really like Allstate. I use them for my cars, home, motorcycle, and boat. I pay about $70 a month, but I only pay 6 months and I'm covered the whole year. Never had to make a boat claim, but they have been great when someone hit my wife and was uninsured.

American Modern Insurance Group ... quoted me $300 a year. for an agreed upon replacement value of $18500 with a $250 deductible.
anyone ever heard of them?

Never heard of them. I think you might be able to get a little bit better of a deal. The $420 I pay a year is with a $250 deductible and $35000 replacement value.

I have mine with ACE USA, got it through USA Waterski (Global marine)

$370/year for $50K agreed boat value, $5000 trailer. 2005 X-star.

My friend has his with the same company and he just ran aground (prop shaft, rudder, prop) They are right on top of his claim, and all he has to do is take pics and save the old parts. No need for an adjuster to come out in his case.

I just switched to Ski Safe from US Boat. ~$430 for $70K agreed upon value. Very easy to work with.
