01' X-Star, 350 won't crank until cooled down

My 01' X-Star 350 cranks fine until I run it a little, then if I turn it off it just keeps turning over but never cranking. I can wait a little while, then it will crank back up. I first thought it was flooding out, but I am thinking it is somehow tempature related. I need help...

may be wrong ...but in a previous thread i think it was fuel evaporation???

IF is fuel evaporation, how would I fix it....
