So I brought my 99 out today and it literally just stopped while we were going 35mph. No beeps, no odd sounds it just died. Turn the key, nothing happens... not even a click. I think its the electric. The killswitch/lanyard is connected and all wires look to be connected to the ignition. Any ideas?

Check battery terminals and all connections around there.

Besides battery cable connections, check the main plug at the engine harness to make sure it's not loose.

Where in NJ do you ride/ski?

Some motors have a curcuit breaker on them. Usually a little red button type that has to come apart to reset.

Where would this be and what would it look like?

In the bay between Manahawkin and LBI.

I found that and it didnt even look like a button. I pressed it and it didnt move, but that was enough to get it working again. Thanks.

Any ideas what could have caused this? I want to make sure there's no an underlying problem.
