That is cherry!! Prior owner took care of her---were there tears in his eyes when you took her away??

When I bought my 84 off the original owner a couple years ago the whole family was crying. There 14ish year old daughter yelled out the window as I was looking at it and screamed "dont buy it." I really did feel bad. That is until I couldn't see them in my mirror anymore.

762hrs, it's amazing how well taken care of it was. I was wanting an 84 model to avoid the wood stringers, but could not find one in this good of shape. The floor is solid, stringers from what I can see look good. Motor runs great, leaks a little oil from the valve covers, but will cinch those down to solve that. Rear ski deck is fiberglass and needs some work, might just find a teak one to stick on there. Carpet is original, not faded, no tears or bad spots. Upholstery is in excellent shape. I think I did pretty well, been wanting one the S&S for a while.

Just out of curiosity what did you give for it? I've seen some recently around that year in ok shape going for between 6,500 and 8,500.

That is clean. The wood paneling on the dash looks to be in great shape as well. Mine was shot when I purchased 6 years ago. Great find

Awesome boat! Congrats, I really love the S&S boats. :D Word of warning when on the lake in the hot sun, DO NOT step on the stainless strips on the rear floor with your bare feet, Owie for sure! 8p

Great boat and a better price! You did well my son. Reminds me of my first MC, a 79 grey and black metal flake. I wish I had never sold it. (sniff, sniff).
