Has anyone here ever have to change teh gas strut out on the sundeck? I have a 210 VRS and the strut is not struting, noticed the deck coming up uneven and hinge starting to bend. Took the strut off and there is no pressure.

The question is the stock replacement is 20lbs. Should i go more?

I did away with the actuator and used a pair of 60 LB gas springs. Based on what that feels like I'd think a single 60 lb with the motorized actuator on the other side would work well.

8? i think maybe i don't know how to look around. there is one on the back deck, one on the ski locker, one on the convertable cushion, and thats it right?

Waterskis.com has what they call OE shocks. Ive also got SPD shocks on my boat. just measure the size you need and find out how lbs you need
