Im going to install on my 2007 X15 tomorrow. Will I be able to use the existing MC trim/housing/cover on the dash and maybe just take the glass out? I have seen some factory installed with red rubber/plastic buttons. I just want mine to look as factory as possible. I did get the color to match and it is the MC version. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

I google some dash photos of 07 X15s and I believe your dash is the same as my 06. If that is the case the plastic glass part you're talking about is part of the gage, not part of the trim ring. Just remove the trim ring, unplug the old gage, and then slide the wires for the PP display through the hole. I had to do some turning on the PP display to get it to line up with the dash and just reinstall the trim ring. Looks like it came from the factory.

Perfect!! Thats exactly what I needed to know! Looks good. Hey what tools do I need to take down to the boat to aid the install?

P.S. Some of the factory installed PP on the MC's had raised red buttons. I can't find pictures at the moment but I think yours looks great. thanks!

You'll need to mount the brain box. I had room to install mine where the rest of the wiring is behind the dash. Couple of stainless steel screws, screw driver and an allen wrench for the trim ring. A few zip ties to manage your wiring.

Keep in mind if you have Mastercraft Cruise control in the boat now, you may have to get your ECM flashed to work with PP products.

How did you feed the GPS antenna through the dash? Did you take the dash apart to feed? I almost have it licked. Thanks for all the helpful info!

My dash is open on the bottom. There is also a large hole in the bulk-head going into the front storage area.

I didn't have to run the wire for my GPS through the hole, but did for my display. I made a little mount for the puck and mounted it to the under side of my front tower mount.
