Managed to do this while unloading this morning. Dang barge was near the ramp stirring up $h!t! This is my brand new prop that I just got about a month ago because I damaged another prop and it couldn't be fixed. Break Out Another Thousand!

Sure it would be cheaper, but I refuse to be that guy wakeboarding and trying to surf behind a Tahoe. Lol

Cripes. You've got a bad habit going on there.

A good local shop could easily take care of that prop

That prop sent out and repaired would probably be $159-$169

includes dynamic balance

If you go Jim's route, make sure to make good friends with the shop owner. Looks like you guys will be seeing each other often... :D

Is it just me or is the prop nut rusted in the picture?

The prop looks to be in spec .... shouldn't vibrate at all ...... (mounted on the wall ;)

Seriously, sorry about your luck, it will turn around soon ..... at least you were man enough to post your pics ...... I bet there are many "closet prop dings" reading this right now.

Have a nice weekend!

LOL, you guys suck! That nut was rusted. It was one that I used in a pinch for the last few weeks. There's a new brass one on now with my back up 14x20. Man does that prop suck. My wife can even tell a difference...now that's bad! Haha

if the 14x20 sucked, what was the new one?

14.75x15.5 was the new prop that is now on it's way to Eric. It pulled great! Not too aggressive, but strong enough to pull my fat friends out of the water with no issues.

How did the barge eff up your prop? Did it send rollers in and lower your ground clearance at the bottom of a wave?

what boat? I have the same prop and was thinking of going to to a 14x18.

The barge stirred up all the garbage on the bottom of the river. While reversing off the trailer, a log apparently got under the boat.

I have an X-30. I highly recommend the 14.75x15.5

Sorry man. Why dont you just bend all the blades down uniformally, and you will have a new "cup" design? J/K
