Congrats and enjoy. I remember looking at them new in 92. Couldn't imagine anybody trying to ski behind them.....It was a slightly different enviroment then and salom was King.

I'm in Mckinney, usually on Texhoma, Eaufala,Broken Bow, or Lewisville in that order.

HAve fun.

Was down there last summer, Canyon Lake was really good, low traffic. Travis was busy, busy, but a lot of fun when we went up river. It's low now so be careful.

I have a 92 240 with the open bow and I love it. Lots of space, great wake board wake and just a beautiful style boat. Here are some pict67942

I have the open bow with 454HO 425HP Called Indmar and gave them the serial # and that's what they said when i asked for the torque specs for the heads and a suggestion for gaskets.
The boat only has 241 original hours on it but its 20 years old and new to me so I am replacing all gaskets with Fel-Pro blue marine's, the head bolts with ARP 2000's, exhaust manifolds & bolts also Fel-Pro & ARP, the impeller, all hoses and fuel lines. And rebuilding the heads since i have them off! Should be done by next weekend, still waiting on some parts. The boat is exceptionally clean and all original except the seat bottoms were recovered 2 years ago. I'm adding a tower and 8 speakers + 1 12" sub but might not get around to the tower and speakers for a while. it's white, baby blue with white baby blue and light grey interior. if i knew how to upload pics i would.

these were takin with my blackberry the day i brought it home and hosed it down!
once i'm done with freshening up mechanics of it i'm going to have it detailed. there are zero nicks in the fiberglass and was never beached. the cylinders still have hash marks in them so i know she will be a reliable boat when i'm done.

Yeah I've been doing some research to see what it's worth and all i can find for sale have a cuddy except for 1 real clean one for $28k and one real beat to s%$t one for $14k. so there definitely aren't many around cause there's hundreds of boats around our year for sale of every make and model and even more newer ones.

I stole mine at 9500! It's CLEAN!!!! I replaced all the hoses, replaced the motor box insulation, installed a battery switch, new bilge pump, Sherwood sea strainer, and a few other things. New bunk boards from Ultimate Bunk Boards dot com soon. :-) Oh yeah I replaced the alternator and had to build me a new bracket for that with my sweet plasma cutter. :-) Everyone should have one of those next to their tig machine in the garage! lol

I also bought me a DeWalt polishing kit and cleaned up that gel coat to a GREAT FINISH!!! What a great boat! New interior after Uncle Sam gives a lil back next year!!!!

Nice boat cuz

Go run to your local autozone, etc for a couple rolls of pinstriping. You'll be amazed what a difference a new stripe of black can do; the old stuff peels off pretty easy.

I have a 91 240 open bow with same motor. Love the boat. Extremely dependable and pretty easy to work on. Check out my album pics. I restored mine last fall.

I've got the same engine. I even had a local marine race engine builder look it over. He said it has the Al intake and rectangular port heads so it should be making that kind of power. He said he has had that same vintage Indmar HO454 on the Dyno and it pulled as advertised!

Sweet!
