I have a 2005 PS197 and doing the strut bushings for the first time. Two questions, the shaft is attached to the coupling via a nut that looks like is too tight for socket or wrench. Is there a special tool or tip for this? The strut bushings do not look to have the set screw of the previous years. Any tips on how these come out and go in? Just pull them and tap them in with a soft mallet?

I have one of these sockets but it is nothing fancy really...

Just a thin wall 1-1/8 inch 6 point, 3/8 drive craftsman that has a couple of flat surfaces machined onto it so you can grab the socket with an adjustable or open end wrench.

I think these are all nylon without the brass part. I can see where the cutting will still help. Anything different on the insert?
