Allow me to re-introduce myself!

I think it's been right about 2 years since I've posted on this website! 2 years ago I was finishing up with my senior year in high school and I think that's why I left the forum. I am now 2 years in at Penn State University and still loving the X1. Recently I hit a log which damaged the prop, shaft and strut. All 3 had to be replaced but it was done in a week. Other then that life on the lake is good and I hope all of yours are going well too!

Ahhhh it's good to be back!!

-Lenny

I think I will. I was on here the first time for roughly 2 years but then got caught up with BMW forums as I bought a BMW out of high school. Now that I've sold the BMW I'm spending more time on the water.

I guess I should be a little less liberal with the word mine. It is my dad's but he isn't in to the whole internet scene so I ask the questions and get back to him.

Hey Lenny...welcome back!
Sorry to hear about the log hit, at least you have good connections with MC up there!

Hey next monday June 27th Josh Palma is coming here (Delaware river) to do a clinic. One spot left if you or one of your friends wants to ride!

I won't be able to make it Dave. I have to go to my girlfriends grandparents house to help them do something ha I'm not even to sure what I'm doing. But I will pass it along to my friends. I know my one friend is turning 21 next weekend and hes having his party down in Philly that most of my riding friends will be going to but if any one is interested I'll let you know asap!

Yep. It was a 1994 325i, 5 spd. When I got it was bone stock but I did some stuff to it to make it look a little better. Then I sold that to my brother and right now I'm driving a Buick. Hoping to pick up a 95-99 M3 next summer.

thats a beautiful car. its funny i feel like there aren't many people our age who really appreciate and take care of their cars. all of my friends used to tell me i was "so rich" and "super spoiled" because i drove.... a 2003 Yukon that i bought for $7,000. it was regularly washed, waxed, and i did a few modifications to it. it looked brand new and everyone thought it was.

i love the s2000's. my problem is I am a very large man so I can't drive little cars like that. The only actual "car" i've ever driven was my mom had a pontiac bonneville at one point. everyone in my family drives an SUV and i drive a pickup

Nice looking 325, Lenny - very tasteful mods. Upgrading to a M3 is hard to resist and the E36 chassis is amazing and downright dependable. I still have my E36 M3/4 and still love it everytime I drive it. I take it to the track every chance I get because it is such an amazing car to drive the way it was designed to be driven.

Nice looking MC as well. :-)

Good to be back. I just happened to google search team talk this morning and was like I think I remember my password and user name and well now here I am!

Agreed. Most kids our age do not take care of their cars. I went to a high school where these kids parents were buying thier kids BMW, Audi, Lexus, Saab and other really nice or brand new car. I learned to drive on a 98 Buick Century that I now drive again and it was fine for me. Now after having a BMW and going back to the Buick, I'm not really a fan of the Buick but it will do for now.

Lake Wallenpaupack. The repairs were done at Sterling Marina right on the lake. I worked there for 3 years so everyone knows me very well there.

That is true. S2000's are very nice cars and you really don't see a lot of them. I just couldn't do a car that small. 6'1" 225lbs likes a little bit of room!

I appreciate it. I like the nice clean style of the E36 and I tried to make my 325i look modified while still being clean and classy. I really want a Dakar M3 coupe 5 spd but they are so hard to find, especially in my area.

And I appreciate the comments on the MC! My dad has good choice in colors. A lot of people say white and black is plain and boring but I think it's very classy and timeless.

same as far as the high school thing. a lot of the kids had really nice new cars. my best friend had a 2000 Chevy Blazer and I had a 2001 Jeep Wrangler. They both looked brand new. I miss that jeep. being 6'8" 315 lbs the jeep just got too small. had to go bigger

All white is classy as it comes. I love my 06. I have the cash but haven't found anything I would trade her for yet. If if ever stumble on an 06 all white X2 or X15 I'll look. But I do love this boat

Getting into an M3 next is the right way to go for sure, I enjoyed mine (wish I still had it)

The only thing I would ever do different with a white boat is a black bottom. I hate how white shows dirt. When it's clean its very nice but when its dirty it looks so bad!

Ah the things I would do for an e46 M3 especially with the cinnamon interior and the CSL wheels! My friend has just about the same car but with black interior!
