Believe it or not, I am having trouble finding an allen key (hex wrench) larger enough to use on my zero flex tower. Does anyone know what size that is? Once I know the size, I can call around.

I went to Northern Tool and they did not have the exact size so they cut a small hex shaped pry bar for me, and it worked great when I had to remove the tower to install wires for tower speakers. There is a previous thread on here that talks about using a bolt with a couple of nuts that fit this size allen openning and using that to unscrew the tower bolt. Search under tower or tower speaker install.

I am almost positive it is a 1/2" allen. I am guessing off the top of my head at the moment, but I can check tonight and post if there is no reassurance posted by then.

I got mine at Sears, 1/2 inch for base screws.
I'm in the UK and managed to use a 12mm allen wrench on mates tower. Wasn't a perfect fit but did the job.
