I am having a problem with the upholstery panel around the throttle with my 1995 PS 190 as shown in area_view.jpg in the attached photos. It has come loose and rattles around but even after taking out the driver's seat and crawling all around, I cant figure out where it was attached and how I should reattach it. I know it didn't use to be that loose. Anyone know how or where it attaches?

FYI, this is one panel that goes the length of the boat (I am assuming) and from behind the driver's seat where the speaker it it is attached just fine. It is from the driver's seat forward (throttle area) that has come loose. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have the same boat. If you remind me on Thursday, I'll take a look over the weekend & let you know Monday morning.

Maybe some good double sided tape can stick it back in place.

There is a bolt that goes from the combing pad through the fiberglass in the lower left corner of the cut-out. I wanted to take a pic, but it is very tight in there.

Here's a pic of about where mine is.

Yeah I had a feeling it was near there. I couldn't tell if I used to have a bolt there. I sure as heck don't know how I am gonna put another one there to hold it down. I have temporarily used a hybrid 3M hard velcro like material, but it doens't hold it as close as I want it to. Thanks for checking into it for me and for taking the picture.

No problem. For what it's worth, the head of the bolt would be inside the vinyl, with the bolt itself sticking through the fiberglass. The nut would go on the hull-side of the whole contraption.

good luck. Maybe you can feel the bolt somewhere behind the vinyl & re-fish it through the hole again?

Yeah I was kinda wondering how it all fit together. The way you said it makes sense, but yeah its gonna be difficult to make it like it originally was. I will let you know if I end up doing that or coming up with another plan. But this certainly helps explain a bolt I found on the floor recently. For some reason my boat keeps producing random nuts bolts and screws lately.......

My boat is constantly dropping nuts. I believe most of them come from the windshield bolts though. Next week, I'm going to try to put all of them back on while I'm on vacation. That should be fun!
