I hear you...but...I am thinking that would look really neat and clean on the bow of my 190 maybe installed behind the bow light.

No more need for a bow line....I usually leave mine on, and tie the free end back to the grab rail behind the driver's seat. This would be way better looking!

The one question that I have is how easy is it to replace the line in it?

Now what would be really cool is they had one of these for a houseboat while tieing up our on the lake. 2 in the front and 2 in the back ... make tieing up to shore relly easy.

Looks like the costs are about $150 each. I'd have to investigate it a lil further before I installed one.

For the price, why not just buy the nice pop-up cleats? Interesting idea, but spendy for what you get.

I'd be willing to bet the farm that IF TMC#1 had know about these, he'd have 3 on his boat right NOW!
