What is the best place to buy LED lights...value is important but so is quality.

I tried to contact lightitup for the last few weeks, but no answer.

Any ideas folks?

Also, does anyone know of a website than I can visit that will give me the basics of marine/car audio. I am going to make some decent additions, and would like to get a good understanding of the basics. I am not looking to get into the business, just be able to make informed decisions without asking too many low level questions.

Thanks in advance everyone.

I'm sure April will respond here..............she was able to get me in a malibu GP they were running. I do have some black light segment lighting left over from my last project.

Cool.

What do you think of the black lights now that you have them installed? I would love to have one or two just for the heck of it, but don't know if it would be worth the effort.

Save your money...........I really didn't care for them. I wish I could figure how to take some decent pics that shows the effect but I can't figure out the new digital camera yet.

Related question, has anyone used one of those "cold heat" soldering guns that you see on TV. Lowes has them for 20 bucks, and if they work then its worth keeping in my boat drybox for the speaker/light installs I am doing. If it works, it will at least keep me from burning the crap out of myself while standing on my head under the storage area.

Cold Heat is crap unless you are using really small gauge wire and fine solder....save the money and buy a butane version if you need a portable option.

I bought (4) 15 inch LED tubes (in red to match dash) for my boat from www.theneonedge.com , but I just checked the site and they only have NEON tubes listed...? Maybe, give them a call. I only paid like $40 for all four tubes including wiring, etc.

Check the car part sites though. I did a Yahoo search under "LED car lights" and found this site with closeout pricing on LED clusters: http://store.tireflysonline.com/electropods-automotive-electropods.html I just ordered two more for my ride.
