Would not have believed if I hadn't seen with my own eyes!!!
Not sure if I ever would mount a out board to my swim platform...

Why in the heck did you not go talk to him. I would have gone over and complemented him up and down for his great idea.

Since I don't have kids I would have said my father wants to fish off my boat but navigating in tight spots is too difficult for him. Would have asked for permission for up close pics.
If I had kids I would say I want to fish and they want to watersport. How can I do this to my boat.

Then posted them here on TT and had a real laugh. I want to see his southern engineering. Then the jokes could really fly.

The next time you see him get pics. Lol this guy must have 7 teeth total.

Wow.....worth signing in just to see that pic.....amazing how low she rides in the water with all that weight on the backend. Oh wait I guess he removed his rear seat and replaced it with a giant cooler and it is now full of ice and fish. That explains it ......sorry.

Kyle,
I wa having a hard enough time holding back the laughter. I had my son take the picture and told him to try and not be to obvious.
We both had a great laugh....

I bet. Now before I approached him a may have had to take a run or drink a beer to let the laughs calm down. Then I definitely would have stopped to talk to him or met him at the ramp. There is no way I would have not gotten some BU blackmail.

There is next time sully.

I always said that when I get too old to ski or get injured, I'd spend my time fishing instead. Nice to know I'll still be able to use the old 35th 197.

It's too early. Is that photoshopped, a severe hull modification, or an old Flightcraft Sportster OB (did they even do that in an OB) with some rod attachments on the deck?

I would think that if you did that to your 35th, you'd better be prepared to leave the country because if we ever got a hold of you........it wouldn't be pretty.

NOT that I would ever even consider it (what little fishing I do I use our paddleboat), but really couldn't you easily do this without messing up the boat at all? A couple spare brackets for the swim platform and build a mount for a small outboard motor that attaches to the brackets. Pull it off, put swim platform back on and if someone didn't have pictures you'd never have to know it had been there. :D

Sorry, I wasn't looking closely enough. That boat is a direct drive with an outboard. I missed the motorbox hump.

Wouldn't surprise my neighbor. He always assumed my boat was a bass boat until we talked about it. I guess he's not very observant. It would probaly help if they still put "World Record Ski Boat" decals on our boats.

Had a boat mechanic ask me if my old MC was a jet boat. I promptly dropped the boat back onto the hitch and drove away with it as fast as I possibly could.

Good on him

This is the year I put my collapsible fishing rod in 190 so the kids can jig off the side of it

Your efforts are greatly appreciated. I keep forgetting how well known western Canada is for it's outstanding educational and cultural levels.
