Can a MC be stored on a 3 point boat lift??

Have a 197 an want to store in a boathouse with a 3 point lift. Does anyone have a lift like this? Will it hurt the boat?

I have heard of some older boats develping a hook in the hull after years of hanging. I know several people that hang their boats with no problem. For myself, I would feel more comfotable with bunks.

it is not recommended for a MC, should be in the owners manual. It is also not recommended to use a sling.
