6'0 240 intermediate rider. been on a transcend for 5 years and ready for an upgrade. been looking at a Ronix one 146, Ronix Ibex 144, Ronix mana, watson 143, and the gator boards. I am wanting a fast consistant poppy board for w2w jumps, grabs, have 3 inverts, and wanting to learn some spins, had two knee surgeries and a shoulder repair and not wanting to go all out any longer as age and kids have slowed me down. Just wondering what you guys opinions are and if you can help me buy my next board. ride boat only and looking for a great all around rider. ??????

Look at the CWB Faction 144. I just bought one and it's a nice ride. Easy to spin, great pop and a nice wide board. It has a small spine running down the middle and makes the landings in the flats nice and soft.

Good Luck

i'm 6'2", 210, I tried the Ibex a couple of years ago and hated it. The One if more rider friendly from the Ronix line. My son switched to the Watson this year and has never looked more comfortable on a board.

Go with the ronix one with the closed toe boots. it is a great board!

was the ibex just to much to fast as far as rocker or what was your concerns with that board. I have also been really looking at the MANA board. anybody rode one.

For me it really seemed to stop if I landed beyond the wake. It would not carry your momentum. Also, the pop was not consistent.

I'm not the best rider by any stretch, this is just what I observed. I currently ride a Hyperlite Murray (145 I think) and have been very happy with it.

ronix one or a watson would be a nice smooth ride for a big guy like you.

avoid the ibex, a dude your size will inevitably snap it like a twig near the boots. we went through 4 of them last summer alone.

watson is the one I think i am going with. I just hope it has enough surface area to get my big tail up in the air.
