Has anyone come up with a better tower gasket rather than the rubber gaskets that seems to work themselves out from the tower legs . I have heard there are some composite plastic gaskets but have been unable to find any

Check out this thread here (http://mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=36124) Not sure if your tower is anything close to what is discussed here but it's good info....

Thanks but the 197 and Xstar tower are totally different so these would not work, Looks like that is the only mold he has is for the 197

Yes, 197/X-7 and MariStar 210/X-10, possibly 230/X-30 (hull is 3" wider) but untested. I'm not familiar with the X-Star tower. I wish there was a difinitive post on what models had the same hull, the informaion is out there, just on a number of different threads.
Anyone want to tackle that say from 1999-present.......? LOL.....

I have already replaced the rubber pads once they lasted 2 seasons and are pushing out from under the tower pretty bad this year , since the rubber pads are flat I am going to see if I can find a company in town that deals in composite plastic gaskets and maybe they can cut me some out
