View Full Version : Good day on the lake- Pics of the PS190

Here are a few shots of my boat in the water (taken with cheap canon point and shoot, no way my Oly DSLR is going to be an inch about water)
Great day until later in the day when the wind picked up and caused 3 foot rollers. The poor 91 was swamped! Thank God for bilge pumps!

There's no one in the boat! Aimlessly floating about no doubt!

My girl on the last shot after the boat was put away! (she said no to pictures in a bikini) :(

Thank you! Lake Jackson.

Looking great. Pretty soon us owners of '90s boats will start hearing "looking good for an older boat".....hard to believe this is my 13th summer with my '99.....starting to feel old. The bimini looks just like mine. Is it metaterranian blue?

I think its a pacific blue.... or is it royal blue... I do not remember. I know its sunbrella. If you look at the pictures taken at the reunion, you can see it matches the boat pretty well, but this cheap camera always makes the blue on the boat much darker.
Thank you robin! I really like your boat as well!

Heck... no matter what year they are, they still look cool! Nice boat!

Nice boat and truck! I have pretty much the same Prostar. Had the same problems with rollers over the weekend too, hope y'all had fun.

Thanks... We had a great time! It takes a lot to keep her show quality all the time but it helps that she sleeps in a garage. washed after every use... wax twice a month... I'm pretty anal about the boat, but I also want to enjoy it.

Where did you get the Sunbrella? I'm looking into putting one on my 1990 PS 190. I like the looks of those.

Looks great! I dummied out and didn't get any "on the water shots" of mine this weekend. Now I just need to know if your bimini is on backwards or was mine all weekend??
05-31-2011, 02:41 PM
Thanks, and yes, I flipped my bimini backwards so it lays flat across the windshield base.

here are a couple pictures so those that have not viewed the Southern boat owners reunion thread can see that the bimini top matches the boat better then the cheap camera made it look.

Next time out, maybe I will get brave and use my Olympus DSLR in the lake.... It will give MUCH better pictures than the crappy P&S.

Doo don't get brave on which camera to use!! Focus your bravery on getting the bikini pics!!!!

HA! I am working on that Cary! I think she knows I will post them. LOL
I had to bribe her to just get the crappy picture on the boat when it was in the garage.

Don't know the past....but it looks to me like you rebounded well!!:-)

Thanks buddy! She is quite amazing. she is just like me (scary) and knows the way I think.

Damn!!! Looks like I'm not getting the boat out this weekend! 25mph wind will put 3 foot rollers on my lake!

Great Pics Jason. Sorry we could not get more time to hang out a few weeks ago. Next time!
