I bought some fresh Autolite 24s and want to gap them correctly. I used to have some motorcraft 42Cs but bought these based on what skidim recommends.

Here is my issue. I just replaced the coil which was non resisted internally after it failed from being over powered because the ballast resistor on the back of the block was bypassed. The previous owner did not upgrade to the proper coil which I have just done. With spark energy where it should be what is the proper gap to run on this setup? I was thinking .032 but wanted to be sure.

Thank you.

My manual for my 83 pcm 351 says the gap should be .035
