I would like to do something a bit different with my X star. The backing is coming off my carpet and I need to replace it. I am thinking about doing a flooring job with foam(epic boats, seedek, hydroturf) Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Will this kill my resale? I think all of these companies apply by spray which terrifies me.

SeaDek would be my first choice. That is what is in the bottom of a friend of mine's Epic.

Yes, it will affect your resale. Having recently sold a Mastercraft, and I don't mean to pick on people, but the average MC buyer thinks that the way it came from the factory is pretty well perfect and anything else is because it was mistreated or the owner has suspect judgement. I think persons other than the 'average MC buyer' will see that the boat is fine, but that gives you a smaller pool of buyers is all.

I'd recommend Nu-Teak for your boat. durable, feels good on feet, looks good, looks luxurious.

I did it in our Scout 145
