I just switched props out on the MC. How do I know the prop nut is tight enough. I used an impact wrench but the rudder was in the way so I kinda had it on at an angle. It tightened up and the prop doesn't wiggle so I assume its good. How do I know? I will attach pics.

I would probably guarantee that you put it too tight with the impact wrench. I hope you put some grease under the prop or it is going to be a bear when you go to remove it. Usually just firm is plenty.

If I remember right it is around 50 lb ft. You should check it is in the owners manual. I would but mine is in the boat... If you used a decent 1/2 impact gun it may be well over 200+ lb ft.

so should I take it back off and only put it on wrench tight? I still have the impact wrench right there so it wont be more than a 5 Min job.
