Dont mean to thread-jack but I also need some spares and I havent had a chance to take off a wheel to measure for a 78 S&S... (never got an answer on the prior post)...

When I did mine I pulled the old ones and was able to cross reference the number that is stamped on them. Got them from etrailer.com. I was just at my local farm and fleet store yesterday and noticed they had the same ones there too. The number will be stamped on the rim of the bearing. The grease seal has a number too.

I cheated, I got new loaded trailer hubs from a local tractor supply store. But on my 81, they were for a 1750lb side or 3500lb total axle weight 1 3/8" bearing kit

Thanks.. Yes I know about the size stamped on them... I changed them already on my Motorcycle trailer with replacements from Tractor Supply but was going to knock this out all in 1 swoop with bearings in hand.. Oh well I will take the hubs off today.. Thanks

I'd be interested to know that spec too. I think its wierd that we have all the information on hand here but no one has written this down ;-).
