That's a lot of dirt running down that back panel. Was it stored outside?

Any salt water usage?

Welcome to TT.

Thats a light engine for that boat, unless you use no ballast beyond stock and don't ride with many people.

It may seem light for those of us that opted for the LY6 or the L18, but I've seen many post up that they think the poxer of the MCX is ample for the 45. Hard to imagine when I have the L18, but I've never driven one with the MCX.

I had this conversation with one of the service guys at my dealership the other day. I have the
x30 with the MCX engine and there was one in the shop that had the regular v8. I said to the service guy-" man I can't imagine using my boat with that engine." His reply was "if you have never driven the boat with the bigger engine it is great."

that being said the X2 I hope to buy for next year will have MCX, don't think I need the big dog in the X2.

Close comparison between an X1 and a 45. :rotf:

which is why i laughed at the end.

I guess i should have quoted the post above me, about the x2 and the mcx, i think that boat will be just fine with the mcx
