Some interesting pics.

This is my very first boat (bought when I was 12; which I restored last year) parked next to my current MC S&S which I have been working on this winter....

Nice nice boats.

Man that doorway looks tight. Does the MC fit through going straight?

When I was 11-12, I learned to ski behind a boat like that. It had a 25 hp Evinrude. Mr. Pealer would only allow one small kid up front to keep the bow down and the weight down. He had to sling us around turns so we could go faster. It was a pull start of course. Those fun times are of course the reason I have an MC today.

Yea, its tight!!! (needed to pull it out to get some cars out of the back) ... Which is why I only have it pulled out that far; any further I need two -three people to help me guide it...(about 1/4" space per side) and since I fixed the glass fenders this winter from the PO; I really dont want to have to do it again!

Heading up to Tomahawk, Wi mid-June; so hopefully spring will come. OEM chrome (rusty) wheels and a second set of white spares (4 total) will be for sale once the new wheels arrive back from the powdercoater

Thanks all, for the kind words.

Our neighbors had a small fishing boat just like that with a 35 horse Lark!
That's what we learned to ski on!

Great to see those boats again! Nice work!

That's got me beat. I first skied behind a 15' Alumacraft FD with a 20hp Johnson.

the cool thing is that we went back to the same cabin last summer and I had the chance to pull my son behind it. He's bigger than I was for my first ride almost 40 years ago, so I got him up on a knee board using a circle start. I love my X-Star, but that row boat has been a lot of fun. Thanks for starting the thread CJ
