Anybody got an idea why cutting on the blower, would temporarily trip the radio, then the radio after about 10 seconds the radio comes back up and plays from there on - radio is new, battery is brand new Decca so no worries there. Can an aftermarket blower be "too big" maybe pulling too much initially when I hit it? Using the stock switches on a great 89 PS 190 with no modifications (except maybe the blower housing which does look a little newer and could have been added - it is a large white housing, probably the size of a large softball. Thanks

Sounds like you are just getting a bit of voltage drop when you first flip the blower on. Are you running an amp? Sometimes if I have the radio on and flip on the blower my PP turns off and then back on due to low voltage. Probably something you are just going to have to deal with.

My PP does the same thing when either the blower or heater are turned on. Sometimes it does it when the engine stumbles at low RPM as well. I was wondering if I had a ground issue. Anyone have any guesses?

I figured I would rather put up with it than do a total wiring overhaul. It may just be one of those deals. Thank you for the help.

I also have same problem with my PP, which was dealer installed last year. Jamie
