I want to replace the bunk carpet on my X5 trailer. The bunks are 12' long. There are lots of places that sell 12' lengths, but I actually need about 13' in order to completely cover the front and rear of the bunks once the carpeting is wrapped over the ends.
Some places sell 100' rolls but . . .
Anyone know of a source that sells by the foot, or maybe 14' or 16' lengths? I need black.

Just saw you were in Alberta... was gonna say any Lowes or Home Depot sells tons of different kinds of Carpet... do you have those stores way up there?
I had two 12' sections that I had bought from Overton's long ago, and decided to use them to re-do the bunks on my 205 trailer. Measurement of the bunk boards was just over 12'. I was surprised that it was easily stretched around the ends. Just attach the ends first to stretch along the whole length of the carpet.

If you're near Calgary, Bass Pro Shops has 12' lengths.

Excellent idea. I hadn't thot of that. Thanks.

Thanks for the link. Good to know they sell by the foot. I'll have to see if they ship out of the USA.

Ya, got 'em both around here. Home Depot is just down the street and they have very little selection -- just the basic indoor/outdoor carpet stuff. Nearest Lowes is an hour away.

I bought my carpet at Lowes. It came in a 6 foot wide section and they cut it to any length. Had 5 or 6 different colors. Cost about $4 a foot. I'm putting my new bunks on in the morning when the boat is in the water.

What I'm using! No Carpet on my hull, slightly sticky but working well.
