Due to the wet moisture environment, I used an epoxy resin on both the inside and outside of the box. All joints were glued and screwed. The inside seams were caulked with silicone and the interior and exterior was coated with a spray-on truck bed-liner. The stock subwoofer grill was cut off of the sub and reused. The following posts will cover amplification and the tower speakers.

That looks nice. How much is that sub?

AFter reading this thread--- disregard my suggestion to coat the box and silicone it up- Really nice work.

The Boston SPG555 was a little over $600.00.

So I take it you're really happy with the results? :-)

Yes, it's amazing how good the bass sounds. It's low and tight. I was open to the idea of adding more subs if needed but for now, one Boston 555 will do just fine.
