I haven't been there in 35 years, but I spent many summers working at a marina on the Long Creek Arm. That was back when Branson was nothing but a gas station and a Holiday Inn. Last time I was there, there was a mob hit in the parking lot of the marina - bomb in the big, black Cadillac of a wiseguy from St. Louis. Wild stuff for a high school kid.

Awesome lake. I was just there last week. We try to get there every year. My grandparents live on point 10. I couldn't believe how clear the water is this year. It is almost swimming pool clear!

So is that the Pioneer Point area or over on the Aunts Creek / Little Aunts Creek area?
We have a slip / life in the subdivision dock across from Pt 10, across the cove from Aunts Creek Resort. Been going there for 30+ yrs...

I was there with the fam the week before you. The water is so clear coming from these dirty Texas lakes and rivers. Very beautiful lake. Did you guys make it over the the cliffs across from the Branson Bell? Great hang-out spot, fun jumping too.

Nicwe pics Dell, it gets me pumped up to go out and ride. One tip for the wakeboard, widen the stance a little on it, it will make you a much happier ridder. Make it shoulder width or wider.

You are correct... Pioneer Point...
We skied Aunt's Creek one evening. It was one of the only spots we could find that was smooth.

We did not get over to the Branson area via boat. We made it as far as Kimberling City to hit Skier's Wharf. Found out that Bruce no longer owns it, which was a bummer. He was a cool guy that gave us some killer deals every time we showed-up.
We generally stay around Point 10. There is a rope swing and cliff just across the lake from my grandparent's dock. We did get to Port Grill which I believe is close to Shell Knob, or was it Cape Fair. I get lost on the lake pretty easily. Don't know what it is...
Yep Port Grill is at Campbells point marina, not far from Shell Knob. If you were to keep going past the Shell Knob bridge up the White River for about 5 more miles you would end up where we spend most of our time. It's around Big M marina if you a familiar with the Lake. SKI*MC I will give the boys your tip on making there boots wider. The three you see in the picture are mine. I'm the fat guy on the ski. The jet ski in the back round had myself and my wife on it. Heading back down to the lake in about 3 hours.

I know there is a MC dealer about 5 minutes past Port Grill. I didn't know it was there. We went up there, about 2 years ago, to eat at the Bar-B-Que place across the street. Went over to check the place out. Pretty nice place.
You are correct. Williams Brother Ski and Sport. Dave and April Williams run and own the place and you are right about not only a nice place, but super nice people. I can tell you without a doubt if I have trouble with my 225 Maristar while I'm down there with a group, all I have to do is call and ask what I can take out. I store my boat with them and on more than one occasion when are going to get down there late at night, they will have the boat pulled out fueled up and ready to go when we wake up in the moring. That kind on service is hard to come by these days.

Yeah, the shop seemed like a great place. We spoke to one of the service guys (can't remember his name). He was getting a boat ready for a customer that just bought it. He was very nice, and gave me some pointers for my '96.
Ken is the head mechanic, and yes he is very sharp. Grew up in Kansas not far from where I live on a farm. Well I've got to head to the lake now, dang-it. Be back home Sunday night.

Hey now, I might take offense to the dirty lake comment. Nothing but clear clean water down here in Central Texas.
