I saw some handy dandy wakeboard rope winder attached to someones wakeboard tower... do "they" make one that attaches to a Skylon??? I have looked but cannot find.

LMAO... true enough.... but darn man, I am the only wakeboarder on the boat with (2) skiers. We have ropes everywhere :) The skiers are my wife and her twin... they slalom at the same time. So... an auto rope winder for me would be great!

I used to have the same problem as you, ropes every where. At 40 years old I joined a ski team and finally learned how to coil a rope. At the end of every run I turn the rope so the handle is in the boat and the rest is trailing in the water. With handle in hand I begin coiling the rope giving a 1/4 twist to each loop so it lays down even with the previous loop. Then tie it off with one of those Velcro rope handler thingys.

I have seen little girls coil a rope so dang fast it would blow your mind!

I bet...we are pretty good about stowing things as needed... I just like the idea of mine being auto wound.

I will get one this weekend... hopefully both behind the boat on their skis... it's really awesome to watch!

I like the idea of the ropewinder, but at $700+ bucks I'd rather get drunken twins to roll up the ropes.

My boat came with the rope winder courtesy of the previous owner-I'd rather have the drunken twins too. We have to estimate rope length based on a knot that we have tied in the rope and try to remember how much to let our or reel in relative to the knot for each rider, adds height to the tower, build quality isn't that great. Biggest benefit is being able to easily change from wakeboarding lengths to surfing length.

Right on.

I bet your could get a lot of twins drunk for $700 bills. :D

Find a good show skier to teach you how to roll a rope!

LOL... dang 700.00... nevermind. Ok, I know how to stow ropes... I just like the gadgetry of it... seems a cool luxury item, but wow 700.00. Should have figured, I mean, you know what they say "just another $1000.00" :)
