I have been having problems that others seem to have had with my X-Star. It is an 05 with the MCX engine. At about 1/2 a tank left with gas, the engine sputters as if it is out of fuel. The boat has 75 hours on it.
The boat is at my lake house about 90 miles from here. MYMC told me that it was the filter and that it was easy to change. Has anybody changed the filter on their MCX? Any tips or tricks? I should get the filter today and will run it up there tonight. Thanks in advance. I hope to not have to haul it to the dealer since that is back here at home.
