My wife and I finally bought our first Mastercraft. She is a waterskier at heart, so we went with the PS190. It is a 2001, 310 Predator. Only 220 hours and has been babied. We are in love and our kids (2 and 4) are excited. We have yet to drop her into the water. We are feeling a bit overwhelmed, so this forum has been helpful. Any tips for new MC owners? Thanks!

Congrats on purchasing a beautiful boat and welcome to Team Talk and the MC family. You will find this forum and endless source of information and entertainment. With all the years of experience here, you would be hard pressed to ask a question that can't be answered. We all love pictures, so don't be shy.

My MC is my first inboard and I can't begin to tell you how much I have learned here.

First of all WELCOME!!!! The main tip I can give as I got my first MC last year is to learn as much as you can, ask questions... if this is your first boat period just go out and take it easy the first few trips... no need to go screaming across the lake full throttle. Your comfort and confidence will grow with every hour! If you don't like skiing... do what I do... get a Skylon and wakeboard. These boats actually throw a nice little wake behind them at about 20 MPH!!! Have fun and post pics!

Gorgeous boat!!! I know it well, we (Midwest MasterCraft) serviced it for most of it's life and when it came in on trade a couple years ago my wife and I took her out for a weekend. Congrats!!!

If you're used to other boats, be a bit careful on your first trip out. You'll find that the boat will back up only to starboard (won't go straight, won't go to port). When you drop the trailer in the water, give plenty of space that direction.

Otherwise, take it easy and have a great time.

Haha! Thanks for looking out. Corey had it in MW MC hands before it was bought by the PO. I bought it privately from the second owner.

Just make sure the kids have fun, don't pressure them into skiing and have fun as a a family ... Our kids have been on boats since they were 6 week old

I love the closed bow 190. I don't see many.
